Earlier this year Jomboy, “a leading sports and pop culture new media company with a monthly reach into the hundreds of millions” helped put over a million eyes on the National Lacrosse League in a single week when they hilariously highlighted a goalie fight between the Rochester KnighthawksRylan Hartley & Albany FireWolves backup Ethan Woods.

On YouTube alone, Jomboy’s video has been viewed over 535,000 times, while the media brand’s metrics on social media have pushed their number well past 600K peepers. TMZ, SportsCenter (their tweet is nearly 700K looks as of today) and so many other more mainstream sources shared the scrap too.

If you missed the backstops going buckets (plus most of the rest of the gear), here’s Jomboy’s breakdown…

Well, today Jomboy was intrigued by the hidden-ball trick Connor Kearnan & Kieran McArdle pulled off a few weeks ago in the New York Riptide’s recent victory of the Knighthawks. Impressed by Kearnan, who they confirmed looked very Irish, Jimmy O’Brien questioned Paul Dawson’s & Dan Coates’ positional play, multiple times.

Posted earlier today, the Twitter vid is already at about 60K watches, and on YouTube an even better 75K. Based on Jomboy’s typical high-trending totals, expect those impressions to get a lot bigger leading into the league’s final regular-season games this Saturday.

Update (May 3, 2022): The Kearnan hidden-ball trick video has now been watched over 103K times via @Jomboy_ on Twitter, has netted nearly 400K plays via the YouTube vid below, and grabbed an extra almost 65K looks on Instagram.
