There was a handful of last-minute activity prior to today’s 12pm ET National Lacrosse League trade deadline. While noon (and a number of hours) went by with no official word, three deals were announced by teams and the league later this afternoon.

Here’s a recap:

The New York Riptide have traded former first overall draft pick Tyson Gibson to the Colorado Mammoth in exchange for Tyler Digby, Ron John and a first-round pick in the 2024 NLL Draft.

The Philadelphia Wings sent Brett Hickey to the San Diego in exchange for the Seals’ second-round selection in the 2024 NLL Draft.

The Wings also shipped Anthony Joaquim and their third-round pick in the 2022 NLL Draft to the Mammoth for rookie Sam LeClair and Colorado’s second-round selection in the 2022 NLL Draft.

On Monday, Stephan Leblanc was traded twice (first to Panther City and then to Georgia) and the Buffalo Bandits sent Brent Noseworthy and a second to the New York Riptide for a first-round pick in 2024. Shawn Evans was picked up by the Halifax Thunderbirds last week, the Rochester Knighthawks getting a coveted first-round pick in return for the future NLL Hall of Famer.

Most eyes were on the Saskatchewan Rush, who had a number of highly sought-after UFAs, including 4x Defensive Player of the Year, Kyle Rubisch, and team captain, Chris Corbeil. The 3-8 Rush currently own the worst record in the NLL’s West Division, a number of positive results outside of this year’s post-season picture.
